SSR Selfie

For SSR selfie I read this book called the solar system this book is about the solar system, Dwarf planet and comets. 

Music

LI:To learn music.
In our music session we were learning xylophone, ukulele and piano.
 I was on the piano  after I was on the xylophone.

Maths

LI:To learn something in the class or school by using Statistics.
In our maths session we were learning about statistics. Statistics means figuring the anser by gathering information to answer questions.

In our kiwi can session we were learning friendship. Our theme is positive relationship and our topic is friendship. We shared our understanding of what friendship means. Friendship means that we have to include your friends. We were learning by a game called Secret cards.

Rhyme

LI: To identify the purpose of poems.
In our poetry session we were learning poems.
Poems are a text that we can read. Some poems never rhyme some of them rhyme. Poems have 2 two things that are called rhythm and rhyme. Rhythm is like music or beat. Rhyme is a repeated sound.

Kiwi Sport

LI:To apply our learning to play Ki O Rahi.
In our kiwi sport we played the full game of Ki O Rahi by applying the learning that we know to play Ki O Rahi.
When I was Kioma I have to be in te ao and touch the ki to the po. Kioma is not allowed to be in te roto.  When I was taniwha I have to be in te roto and we have to throw the ki to the tupu. Taniwha is not allowed to be in pawero. The katiaki have to guard the tupu from the taniwha throwing the ki to the tupu. The kicker have to kick the ki to the katiaki if the katiaki they have to pass to their team mates the place when the kicker kicks the ki is te marmara.
When one tag is off you have to pass to your team mates. When two tags are off you have  pass to the taniwha team.

Our game was interesting but some people did not understand.

In our writing session we were doing a bank of words.
We  have to do it individual first after we have to go to the person that have the same word as you. After share all of the words to the person that have the most words.

Inquiry

LI:to learn abuse and to find help.
In our inquiry session we were learning about abuse.
There are 7 abuse that are Neglect, family violence, Sexual abuse,Cyber abuse, Physical abuse,emotion abuse and No abuse.
Neglect is not taking care of your child. Family violence is like swearing to your parents.
Sexual abuse is like a unknown person say "turn on the webcam without your clothes.
Cyber abuse is a unknown person say that you are the unknown person's friend.
Physical abuse is like someone punches your friend. Emotion abuse is like someone bullying you and you feel like you are hurt. No abuse is like there nothing about it.
We were learning how to get help from. We can get help from your teachers, office owners and social workers.

Kiwi Can

LI: to learn cooperation.
This week in kiwi can we learnt about Cooperation and our theme was Positive Relationship.
 We have to shared our understanding of cooperation. Cooperation means that we have to trust the person beside and it means that we have to work together as a real team repreasent your school or your team. 
Our energizer was opposite action. Our activity was Command this game is all about work together to follow instructions. 1 person went to Miss Mac to get instructions. They have to explain to the team. When the team have finish they get one point. When is a small team wins is not hard if is a big team it gets hard.

In our reading session we were identify the different strategies we use as a readerby putting an example and the meaning. Next we have to do a predicting and skimming poster.

Writing

LI: to make a boring sentence to a interesting sentence.
In our writing session we make a boring sentence to a interesting sentence.
We have to think a simple sentence and turn it into a interesting sentence with adjective,when,where,how and why.

Team work


LI: to identify characteristics of a healthy/non healthy relationship.
For inquiry we were learning healthy and non healthy relationship. 
The first DLO was that we wrote on 2 padlets.The first padlet we did 3 topics that are Home,Community and school. For a example for home is family. For example for school is principal. For example for community is fire fighter.

The second padlet was how can relationship change we have three topic like the first one. 
The second DLO was the body outline we have to write the emotions in red and actions in black.
The third  DLO was the t chart. The t chart have to include what makes a good team and a bad team.

Kiwi Sport

LI: To learn the role of kioma
In our kiwi sport session we understood the role of kioma.
1 member of kioma is the kicker. The kicker has to stand in Te marama. They have to kick it to the kaitiaki. If the ki rolls taniwha gets it. If the ki is dropped taniwha gets it. If the kaitiaki catches it they throw to kioma in te ao. Katiaki enter and exit pawero through te ara.

Kiwi Can

LI:To learn about praise.
In our kiwi can session we learnt about praise. It links with our theme of positive relationship and topic of positive communication.
As a group we developed a shared understanding. We used a game that uses praise and the game is called Hand soccer.
