This week for writing we had being advertising. We had a google slide and we had to write our owen answer and the first slide was doing as a group. We had to also look at the picture on the left hand side and we had to write the answers for the questions.

Swimming
LI: to learn water safety and swimming.
In Susan group we were doing Submerging Floating on back Straight back and legs Floating on back with noodle Starfish Doggy paddle Dolphin dive.For the doggy paddle we have to have a noodle in front of us and kick the legs and act like a dog.For the dolphin dive we have to put our hands together in the air and dive like a dolphin.

Inquiry
In this session we investigate the pulley and its use to lift heavy things.
We were learning a simple machine that makes our work without climbing a letter or walking on stairs. That machine is called a pulley.
A pulley is a machine that lifts heavy things the the ground floor to another floor.

Distraction means fall out of focus.
Many things can distract us like people talking or physically annoying each other.
To learn about distraction we played a game called Distraction Circle.
Four people have to circle the middle person the four person has a job to distract the middle person. The hardest part to remember was the number one because we have to do the actions and we don't know what was the number because we have to be focus to the actions

We have to have a partner and get 1 noodle between both of us. After one of us go in the pool then they have to say "Help Me"! Then the other person had to lie down on the belly and drag the person from the pool that is drowning. After that we did the dolphin dive firstly we have to put our hands together in the air. Secondly we dive like a dolphin.

Speech Competition Finals
Today it was the speech finals.
There were 12 kids that were in the finals.
The judge came to PBS to judge the speakers.

LI: To develop knowledge of the Incline Plane
This week for inquiry we had to do An Incline plane is an angle with one side lower than the other and is used to transport objects and more. me and partners had to use toy cars and use Incline Planes to see how the toy car would react in action going down an Incline Plane.
There were tests using Incline Planes to see how it would make things easier to carry etc. We had to see how the Incline Plane would make it easier to carry a person in the class. Ong, Chris, etc. (Light people).
In partners/groups, we had to complete this draw explaining Inclined Planes, why Incline Planes make it easier to move things and an example of an Incline Plane in our everyday lives
Fix the poster
LI: To apply the print design rules.
This week for cyber smart we were learning how to fix the four areas of the print design rules on the posters. We have to fix the color and text for ten minutes and the rest for ten minutes when you are finish you have to show and blog it.

For our activity we did four challenges. The first challenge was exercise the first was 5x of a sit up the second was 5x burpees the third was 5x of push up and the fourth was 5x of a squat. We have to do that for a minute. The second challenge was putting the Maori color words to the English we have to do all of it in one minute. The third challenge was writing the alphabet backwards and we have to it in 1 minute. The last challenges was doing the catch phrase in new actions.

After we were watching video that was made by Holden they were making a simple machine after watching the video our group have to join another group and make a simple machine by our body the first time that we did it was with no blindfolds and the second time that we did it was with blind folds.
