Maori

Raapa te rima o pipiri
Wednesday the fifth of June
Today we began to learn about Matariki by reading a book called the night sky.
Matariki is the maori new year.
The stars disappear at the beginning of April, and reappear in the sky through June.
This marks the time to  start playing so that the harvest is ready for Spring
