Cybersmart



L.I:To use keywords for better searching.
For cybersmart we did smart searching.We had to think of a topic.
Our topic is called Netball.The three question about netball is:


  • How many positions are there in netball?
  • Which netball team has the most win percentage?
  • What do the positions do in netball?
We had to put those questions into the question box.Next find the keywords.
Use the keywords to find a site about your question.After that you duplicate three slides and put each a question in it.We use our sites to find our information.

Kiwi Can

Our theme was Resilience and our topic was understanding emotions.
Our catchphrase was Kiwi can says "If you feel it, let it out, don't doubt just let it all out".
Our energizer was do you feel it. We have to hold our breath, do 25 star jumps and we have to do a plank for 1 minute.
Our activity was emotion charades  we have to do a emotion and where they are.

Motat

LI: to learn about STEAM
We went to MOTAT which was a really big museum with interesting and amazing stuff. We first went looking around MOTAT viewing artifacts, and saw a bunch of cool things. We saw a fire station with a firetruck used back in the days. We even saw a telecommunication exhibit with dial phones, and stuff like Morse codes. We then saw a car exhibit and saw a super car, a car that Queen Elizabeth 2nd used, and saw car engines. Next we saw a old village with a classroom, church, workshop.

When we finished looking around we firstly made an electric car! We first had to make the body of the car using cardboard. The he engine was a motor and a fan. The wheels were small wheels, and a skewer. We then had to connect the parts in some way.

Lastly we made a flashlight using some connecting blocks. We first had to use the motor again, and connect a LED light to the motor and span a cog to make the light flicker. We then had to use the connecting blocks, cogs, and more to try to keep the LED Light on instead of it just flickering.

Maths

LI: To earn to and look after money by creating with maths. This week was about earning and looking after money. We chose to make a basic fact up to 20 quiz on a google form.This task was to make money and look after it. first we had to had a google form to keep all our money. and we had a disaster form when you press go and then it will pick year 6 year 5 girls boy group people and those stuff. If you get picked then you will have to pay back some or all of your money. Since we had completed this task before the completions date you will earn more money.

      Duffy Theater


      LI: to learn about reading
      Duffy Theater have performed a play for Panmure Bridge School. It was about how Duffy got sucked into the game. It was really bizarre, funny, and great. The characters were: Duffy, Sam (Duffy's Cousin), Sams Mum, Dismantler (in the game), Puzzler (in the game).

      Firstly Duffy went over to Sams house and got sucked into the game by wearing his grandmother's glasses. He got sucked into the game called Magic Bricks irst. It was like Jumanji, so Duffy only had a limited amount of time to get out or he would get trapped into the game forever. They find out that their grandmother was the creator of the game, and they learned the secret algorithm to get out of the game.

      LI: to learn resilience and emotion.
      Today our theme was Resilience and our topic was Emotions.
      Our activity and energizer were Silent emotion disco but we did in two ways the first way that we did as a group with someone wearing the headphones.
      The second way was in little groups. Catch phrase : Kiwi can says If you feel it let it go don't doubt just get it all out.

      HIIT

      LI.to get fit and work out our muscles

      This week we did hiit, and we had three station: First station the pull ups, the second station the mountin climbers, the last station is the push ups, and squad challenge. The pull ups I have to hold on to the pole and touch the pole with my chest.I had to work with my arms. For the mountain climbers I had to hold on to the stage and kick in front by high knees. For the last one which is the push ups I had to cross our legs and put our stomach in the floor, and hands bend up and down. After that we had a squad challenge with the song Big Sally up.The challenge was if the song says up you have to go up, if the song says down you have to go down. The hardest was when it says down you have to go down and have to stay down a long time.

      LI.to solve word problem of different types
      We had done some of the word problem and in the bottom there is a video explaining the word problem. For the word problem I had to finish what I could finish.For the video we had to present and tell how I solved the problem.

      Planets in Japanese,Planet jigsaw, Earth and Beyond



           



      Today I had done three things that is about space. For the first slide we did about science
      and earth and beyond. For the science and the earth and beyond we had to write everything that you know about science and about earth and beyond. For the second slide we did planets in Japanese.
      We wrote about what is the planet names in Japanese. For the third doc we did information about the
      planets. We did how long does it take the planet to orbit the sun, what is the position from the sun,
      what does the planet looks like, three interesting
      facts about the planet, number of moons
      does the planet have,
      and the picture of the planet.

      LI: to skim, scan, and summarize information
      Skimming is just reading the book and looking around for information. Scanning is trying to find specific information. Summarizing is reading a book and retelling it. So we had an activity to make constellations using skewers and marshmallows. We had to choose a constellation to make and write down information about. The two constellations I have done is Leo

      Start with your orientation and write it like you normally would when doing narrative. 


      In partners take a piece of your story board and write the Dialogue for it.

      LI: to summarize and retell a text.
      For SSR selfie I was reading how to be a engineer.
      I will tell you what is the book about. Engineering is all around us at home, phone, clothes and many other things. Software engineers create codes and programs that make our device's work. Chemical engineers work in labs, they return materials into medicine, food and clothes.
