Inquiry

LI: to recreate a defensive wall.
For inquiry we had to make a plan to make the defensive wall our plan was incredible. After we made our wall we made a rammed earth and castle wall, our rammed earth wall super high not as high like a giraffe but it was the size of a tray.

It took 5 hits to the rammed earth and castle wall.  My team have a turn on the pencil catapult and each group have a turn as well.

This activity was awesome.
My prediction: I hope we do this activity again.

Kiwi Can

LI: to persevere.


This week for kiwi can LS1 group a won! If you don't know what I am talking about I can tell you, every kiwi can we do we get points if we were being respectful, participating, encouragement and etc.

We got to choose two games to play at kiwi can. The first game that we played was invisible rugby I already explained it but if you don't know how to play invisible rugby look on my last blog about kiwi can you will get all the information you need.

The other game that we played was hand soccer, is exactly like soccer but we can only use one hand, we can't throw or hold the ball. This week I learned by going to kiwi can.



Swimming

LI: to learn water safety.
For we had to do the stream line.
How to do a stream line.
1. Hands together.
2. Above your head.
3. Push and swim.

The  2nd thing was that we had to go deep and do and do a handstand.
How to do a handstand in the water.
1. Push and swim.
2. Swim and go down.
3. when you go down to a handstand.

The 3rd thing was that we had to do a dolphin kick.
1. Put your tummy and head in the water.
2. Wiggle like a worm.

Today we went into two different group My groap we had to panr up with Dog man David he red A Wife for Te Ra and i red Kahu and Hokioi we were post to visualise what we sed. 

Inquiry



LI: To learn about technologies that overcome earthworks fortifications.
For inquiry we had to learn about structures in war which is all the structure that the allies used in WW1 - 2. Today we had to answer all the questions that were about our learning. We had five questions and we did this by looking on the slide we had made.

Writing



LI: to identify the structure and language features of a procedural text.
For writing we were looking the language feature s and the structure of a procedural text.
We had to make 3 google drawings and we had to use the 3 different things to go onthey are recipe, build and direction.

For maths we had to play a game called Try to answer  the question before the ball touch the blue bench.

Swimming

For swimming we had to go in the pool after we had to do a skyline.

Duffy


I: to see how reading gives a amazing result
Yesterday we had Duffy Assembly and our guest was Micheal Mulipola. He was a comic artist. He told us that when he was little, he wanted to be a comic artist. So that was what he became. He showed us a lot of his work on a slide show. His inspiration was from School Journals. Micheal even illustrates School Journals and we have them too.

He also told us that he was in big gaming event. He was playing Tekken against other people. He ended up losing but he was in the twelve percent of best Tekken player. So he was a semi professional tekken player.

Micheal was also a big wrestling fan. His favorite wrestling star was The Rock. Micheal also has illustrated books for the WWE. He has illustrated some WWE books and a magazine. Sol Micheal kinda worked for the WWE. Micheal also said he was a Professional Wrestler. Micheal was part of the NZ Professional Wrestling Entertainment. He was once the Heavyweight champion and had the tag team championship. He has also me WWE superstars like Samoa Joe, Sami Zayn, AJ Styles and more.

Then later he gave us each class a box full of our duffy books.

Kiwi Can


LI: to learn perseverance.
For kiwi can we were learning perseverance. Perseverance means that trying again and over again and the part of it don't let people go down and don't be proudful after we played our first game the game is called tangled how does this game works is that when you tag someone they tare tangled with you the last player is the winner. The 2nd game we played is called  invisble touch how does this game works is that someone have to say the a number after they had to run then someon had to say someone have the ball

Defensive structures


For the defensive structure there was visitor the visitor name was Isaac. Isaac was teaching us bombs , dumb bombs and smart bombs. After we learned about exoplasive the exoplisive we learned are dynamite ,land bomb after we watch a video how does the shock wave start and exploded. After we had  a challange the challange we had to build a structure that made of 8+ straws and 1 piece  of paper after we had a swimming board Mr.Wong, Mr. Ogilvy and Isaac had to hit in both side to make the helicopter to die.

LI: To adapt to existing technology
For Inquiry we had to look at technology that have use of gunpowder. We had learnt about hand cannons and how they were made. We all looked close into this weapon and found out of how it works. If you go to the last slide then you can see on the top right photo how the gunpowder and bullet get placed.

Swimming

LI: to learn water safety.
For swimming we had to be in the  pool after we had to use the board to make big waves and not to be hit by the board. After we had to be our back and kick to swim. After we had to be like drill go side wades.

How to swim like a drill side wades.

After we had to do the proper way to do the drill side ways. After we had to swim the farest after we had free  style of the moves that we did in pool.

Kiwi Can

LI: to perservance.

For kiwi can we were learning perseverance. Perseverance means that we had to not give up. For our 1st game was adult master this game is smailler to the game master. How does this game  works  we had to sit down on the mat after the Master have to start anyway after when the master is near you had to add the numbers togeter after we have to say the number after it was our 2nd game. Our 2nd game was Card tower how does this game works is thet we had to be in 4 different groups and we had to work as team and make tower.

Maths



LI: to convert between analog and digital clocks.
 For maths we were learning about digital clocks and analog clocks. There is 3 different kind of clock they are digital, analog and 24 timing clocks. Am and pm are not stand for at morning and past morning. It stands for ante meridiem and post meridiem.
We had  to go search up what does  am and pm means. Then we had to make slide or a doc and use the time of the morning to night time.

Writing

LI: to write a narrative.

For writing we had to write a narrative and add pictures. When you are finish you have to write your name on the white board and wait and blog it.

The story: 

On a snowy day there was a clown named Chad. He is  strong like his heavenly God. He has a shiny gold galaxy bricks. Chad is cleaver and he can answer a question like a speed of a lamborghini. He has big blue shiny smart galaxy eyes. Chad is a Mt everest climber like Sir Edmund Hillary who made the beautiful galaxy purple 5 dollar note. He has a shiny, green , glittery , small hot ears like those who have small hot ears, a hot ear smell like a pepper.


The  mountain is clear like fresh water. It is 9x thicker than ice, snow and dry ice. The mountain is smooth than a chunk of clear blue ice and snow. It is fresh than a fresh clear no sugar water that smell delicious. The mountain is 9x colder than dry ice if you dare to touch it. It has ice that is 6x colder than ice, snow, dry ice and cold liquids. The ice is clear and you can see what is under the ice.

Chad was living in a mountain his mountain was super duper cold he was wearing a warm leather after he sawed something weird he was thinking like a nerd and he silently said to himself “Is it the 2 brother” he thinked. After they were having a battle. After Chad were started to destroy the two brother with all his power. After the battle Chad was angry because of the 2 brothers trying to destroy mountain and now Chad finally rid of them.

Castle



LI: to evaluating your contribution.
this week for inquiry we did Castle we had to write about how they got build,Name of the location,2 histroic examples of a castle ,What technology we are doing.

How to play the game?
We need: 4 blue and red counters and I gold counter.
Then set up your base after we only can move I step forward and enjoy.

Swimming

For swimming we had lean our backs with a noodle.

Maths



For maths we had to do a slide pretension of all your 5 station after we had to talk about how we can do the slide and what you did to make the slide. After we had to blog it.
For station 1 we had to make 36 squared tiles and make the perimeter small. 

For station 2 we had to make a rectangle using all the 48 square tiles we had to try to make the smallest as possible after we stared to get 6 and a 8. For station 3 we had  to use a calculator to find out the answer and know the square roots. 

For station 4 we had move and cut and tape 36 square to make the of something.  For station 5 we had to make  a house with square paper to use as rooms in the house. The floor was 42 squares after the living room was 20 square after 15 for each room. And the kitchen was 10.

The activity was awesome and good. 

The legend of Fin McCool


LI: to visualize a myth to understand the meaning.
For reading we have to listen and stop and write some writing of the legend or myth after we did a  drawings in per box. The drawing is 5 mins per box and the drawing is 30 mins long. After we have to show the legend to the teacher. After we had to blog it if you finish you have to show it to the teacher.
