For this activity we had to compare and contrast Jean Batten and Amelea Earhart.  Amelea was born in America. She hates wearing goggles and she sawed her first plane when she was 10 years old. Jean Batten was born in Rotorua. She died by an infection. her parents study music in England. They both brave and have confidant and they are both great flying solo.

For this activivity we had to to pick one of the charites. I picked SPCA we had to know what SPCA do and how they help animals. They help proctect 40,00 animals a year because the animal owner is abandoned them.

About my language and my culture
My family came from Myanmar then Malaysia the here in NZ and we speak in Jing Hpaw. Kachin is a state in myanmar. Our language for kachin is Jing Hpaw.

SLJ/Day 1/Explorers

Today it was the first day for the SLJ. We had to make a list of 10 items then I had to put a description why I choose it.

Maths

LI: To find the unit fraction and the fractiong of sets.
A fraction of sets is a whole object divided in equal sized groups of objects.
To find the unit fractions of sets, divide the sets by the number of groups.

Here is a example:
My set size is 9 so one third of 9 is 3.
9 ÷ 3 = 3

For maori we were learning the numbers in maori. We learnt:

This week for Kiwi Can it was fun week. The things that we recap were our topics. That were Respect,Postive Relationship, Intergrity. For the activity we played Hot Potato fast, Musical Cones, Billy pop and the focus game.

LI: To novel study.

For reading we were completing the follow ups tasks. I finished three more follow ups. I finised the Character web,Author study and Meanings of words. We also had to finish reading our books.

Cybersmart

This week for cybersmart we had to do a DLO about how to find a legal image and what is a legal image. For our DLO We did a Online Voice recorder.

Tennis

LI: to play in singles.
This week for tennis we were playing in singles. We were combining the forehand and the backhand and moving towards the ball and going to left nd right. Singles is one player playing againest another player. The challengers had to get one point to get the champions out and the champions had to go at the back of the challengers line. The last 3 champions had to versus each other. We had to have one more person to versus one of the champions.  If the other two champions are out. The two champions that are standing they had to versus each other. First two points wins.

LI:To learn time in maori.
We were learning time in maori. We had to read the time then show the time on a clock face We had to use a clock face generator.

LI: To learn the days of the week in Maori.
This week for maori we were learning about the days of the week.  We had to predict where the assimilation name whould be then you had to go on maori dictionary and mark it all.

Kiwi Can

LI: to lear how to respect peoples similarities.
For Kiwi Can we learnt how to respect peoples similarities.
Our theme for Kiwi Can Respect for others. Our topic was Respect others similarities and diferences. Our catchphrase was You respect me, I'll respect, thats what I meant to be.
we learnt by Mirror Mirror. You had to be in partners. One partner had to do any thing you want. The other partner to copy it. Then we swaped and repeat the process.

LI: to learn fraction of sets and how to find a unit fraction.
A fraction a whole object that is divided in equal piece. A fraction of sets is a whole object into equal size groups of pieces. To find the unit fractions. I must divide the sets by numbers.
