Touch | Kiwi Sport
This week for Touch we combined the skills we used for the last few weeks and put it in a game.
First, we warmed up by doing a three men settles and sometimes a two men settle. A two men settle is one person plantting the ball and the person behind the planter can grab it and pass it.
A three men settle is basically the same thing but with a third person. When the first person plants the ball and steps over it the third person grabs the ball and pass it to the second person and we repeated this order in different patterns.
After the warm up we started playing a attacking and defencing game. In there were three teams, two teams playing and one team discussing about their strategy.
Our coach told us to go forward first then go wide and fill the field.
This weeks lesson was easy and fun to understand.

Two and Three Men Settles | Kiwi Sport
This week for Touch we learnt about how to do a two and three men settle.
After doing a warm up we learnt how to do a two and three men settle. A two men settle is one person plantting the ball and the person behind the planter can grab it and pass it.
A three men settle is basically the same thing but with a third person. When the first person plants the ball and steps over it the third person grabs the ball and pass it to the second person and we repeated this order in different patterns.
Lastly, we played a walking version of touch so that we can understand where and when the skill is used.
I enjoyed this week session and one thing I should work on is improoving my skill of planting the ball.

Volleyball
After bend the knees a little bit, this is when the person is serving the ball. The reason why the person have to bend the knees a little bit, because to push the ball up.
In a serve the person have to serve it to the other team to throw it back, but mostly is when the ball is coming back.
Sets are when the person is serving and when the ball is coming back.

Tennis
This week for tennis we did fore hand and back hand. We also learned the half serve. For the fore hand and back hand we had to remember to hit the ball gently to the other person as your buddy. Coach Peter teached us the throwing part just with a ball throwing it diagonally to the other opinion. Next we started the serve. The serve was not a full serve but we did half serve, starting on the shoulder and we throw the ball with our left hand and we had to throw the ball high about a meter high and then hit the ball with our racket.
We are going to dot eh full serve next week.
I look forward to do it.

For the last one which is the push ups I had to cross our legs and put our stomach in the floor, and hands bend up and down. After that we had a squad challenge with the song Big Sally up.The challenge was if the song says up you have to go up, if the song says down you have to go down.
