Singles is one player playing againest another player. The challengers had to get one point to get the champions out and the champions had to go at the back of the challengers line. The last 3 champions had to versus each other. We had to have one more person to versus one of the champions. If the other two champions are out. The two champions that are standing they had to versus each other. First two points wins.

The person who talk about Foodprint was Michael. Michael talked about the jouney she has been in. Foodprint is a small bussiness owner. Planning for two years and six month open. Foodprint are Environmental friendly. Food waste is a problem could be distributed to those in needSocial issues, food needed for survival. problems come with how food is produced.Overproduction means 1/3 of food produced is wasted every year... 1.3 billion tonnes of food - landfill = decays and produces methane gas which contributes to climate change Action to reduce this is reduce amount of food wasted.

Tennis
LI.to learn the basic tennis movements.
This week for tennis we did fore hand and back hand. We also learned the half serve. For the fore hand and back hand we had to remember to hit the ball gently to the other person as your buddy. Coach Peter teached us the throwing part just with a ball throwing it diagonally to the other opinion. Next we started the serve. The serve was not a full serve but we did half serve, starting on the shoulder and we throw the ball with our left hand and we had to throw the ball high about a meter high and then hit the ball with our racket.
We are going to dot eh full serve next week.
I look forward to do it.

The energizer was called 4 challenges. We had to be in a group after you had to pick one person for the leader. The leader had to go to Mrs Mack and say the challenge to your group and repeat thing again. The first challenge was 5 jumps forward and 1 jump backwards, 3 jumps forward and 2 jumps backwards.
For the dicussion we were talking about strength and weakness. strengths means the thing you can do. Weakness is the thing we can't do. My strengths is Playing an instrument,Arts and drawing.
After the diccusion we did activity.Our activity was human knot.

LI- What is business.
For inquiry we had to be In groups of no more than 3, find and create a several google draws, or a slide deck with as many businesses you know, heard of or use. Find and attribute a picture of each of these businesses and then write underneath what they sell, and the approximate cost of items. Remember find a range of businesses in our community, but also some you may not find in Auckland or even New Zealand.Approximate cost means estimate- You do not need to research cost. Places to visit in Japan
LI: To find 5 places you would want to visit in Japan and say why each place has captured your interest.
This week we have been learning about the Rugby World Cup that has been held in Japan.
For this task we had to find some places to visit in Japan. By doing this task I learnt some information about some places. For example Mt Fuji is recognized as on of the “Three Holy Mountains in Japan. I didn't knew it before. The other places are Tokyo,Osaka,Kyoto,Hokkaido and Mt Fuji.
Water safety
LI: To learn special water safety skills.
This week was the life jacket week. We had to wear life jackets. The first thing we did was paddle and kick to the other platform. The second thing that we did was swimming to the wall then float on our backs. The last thing we did was a pencil dive.A pencil dive is when you put your hand on your head and the other hand across your waist and take a big step forward.It was really fun because I love the teachers who teach me because they liked me in their group.

Matching task

For this task I had to match the position to the players. I learnt that there are lots of different positions in rugby which are: Center, Prop, Fly Half, WIng, Lock, and Flanker. I also learned the new information about each of the players.

Our challenge was to make a simple Rube Goldberg machine using all the six simple machines.The simple machines we used for our Rube Goldberg machine is a pulley, wedge, incline plane, wheel & axle and a lever.The challenging part is what are we going to make and what we are going to use for our simple machines.The part that I will make different is the pulley part.I want to change and get a better pulley.The material I will use for the pulley is a yo-yo.

Swimming
LI: to learn water safety and swimming.
This week for kiwi sport we did streamline and kicking. Streamline and kicking: We put our hands together in the air knee down the swim remember look down and closes your eyses and kick. Floating on backs: Put your legs on the bar then slowly (without making the leg off the bar) then float. Tummy up,Chin in: We lie down ,we make our tummy up then we put our chin in. Floating on backs with noodles: We float our backs it is the same as the bar execpt with noodles.

Swimming
LI: To learn water safety and swimming.
We were learning water safety and swimming.
Firstly we did follow the leader with the swim boards. Secondly we were floating on the bars then we did the dolphin dive. Thirdly we did follow the leader again. Lastly we did was a challenge called last one to go up in the water.

LI to learn about the persiave tools of advertising.
Today we were learning about Television Advertising.
The first slide we did was find 3 examples of video advertisements that use celebrities to sell their product. The second slide was an ad that was called the unsell we have to anser all five question for the ad. The last slide we have to an ad of your favorite thing then answer the five question again.

Today for Kiwi Can we were learning how to overcome challenges.Challenges means difficult tasks.
Many challenges that we are given are like quizzes,playing tag and more. To learn about challenges we played puzzle challenges. We have to be in a circle the kiwi can leader have to say six tasks that were jump in,jump out,turn around,touch the ground,look up and look down. After the kiwi can leader mix them up then say what they like to say.

This week for writing we had being advertising. We had a google slide and we had to write our owen answer and the first slide was doing as a group. We had to also look at the picture on the left hand side and we had to write the answers for the questions.

In Susan group we were doing Submerging Floating on back Straight back and legs Floating on back with noodle Starfish Doggy paddle Dolphin dive.For the doggy paddle we have to have a noodle in front of us and kick the legs and act like a dog.For the dolphin dive we have to put our hands together in the air and dive like a dolphin.

Inquiry
In this session we investigate the pulley and its use to lift heavy things.
We were learning a simple machine that makes our work without climbing a letter or walking on stairs. That machine is called a pulley.
A pulley is a machine that lifts heavy things the the ground floor to another floor.
Kiwi can
LI:To focus more (not get distracted).
We learned how to not get distracted.
Distraction means fall out of focus.
Many things can distract us like people talking or physically annoying each other.
To learn about distraction we played a game called Distraction Circle.
Four people have to circle the middle person the four person has a job to distract the middle person. The hardest part to remember was the number one because we have to do the actions and we don't know what was the number because we have to be focus to the actions

We have to have a partner and get 1 noodle between both of us. After one of us go in the pool then they have to say "Help Me"! Then the other person had to lie down on the belly and drag the person from the pool that is drowning. After that we did the dolphin dive firstly we have to put our hands together in the air. Secondly we dive like a dolphin.
