Similies

Similes is a comparison of two things using "like" and "as...as." Similes are mostly use in figurative language.

The "like" similes are used for a action. For example: The lady swam like a fish.

The "as...as" similes are used for adjectives. For example: The turtle is as green as a leaf.

Similes can help people to compare two things with the words "as...as" and "like."

LI: to describe things by simile.
