Nanogirl Treasure hunt | Summer Learning Journey

On a Monday afternoon LS1 started the Summer Learning Journey. The school is still open so LS1 was finding materials and tools needed for the experiment. It was really fun, we had NanoGirl teaching us what to do and what to find. I am really looking forward to doing the experiment. I am looking forward to doing the experiments and future activities

These materials will certainly help you build superhero powers over the summer...what do you think you might create with your materials? I'm looking forward to seeing your creations!

    1. Hi Fiona,
Thanks for your great feedback. My group and I would make a automatic hand sanitiser pusher. What will you do with the materials?

    2. Mōrena David,

A hand sanitizer is a great idea! I was thinking of making something for my vegetable garden to try and stop the birds from eating my tomatoes - perhaps a funny looking superhero scarecrow! If you have any ideas please let me know (-:

      Happy blogging!

    3. Hi Fiona,
Wow! a scarecrow, that's a good idea. Some ideas you might make are like automatic dog roar or a automatic scratch. What ideas do you have in mind? (before I did the hand sanitiser).

  3. Now the automatic dog roar is an excellent idea... the birds would get a fright and fly away! I was thinking of cans on a string that I pull when I see pesky birds, so they get a fright as well as seeing a scarecrow. I will need to collect at least 15 cans. Thanks again for your ideas David!
